1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1629
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1629 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Energy Assistance Act is amended by
5 changing Section 11 as follows:

6     (305 ILCS 20/11)  (from Ch. 111 2/3, par. 1411)
7     Sec. 11. Payments to Energy Providers. When an energy
8 provider supplies winter energy to a participant and customer,
9 the ~~the~~provider shall be compensated by the State of Illinois
10 pursuant to rules promulgated by the Department.
