AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1455

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1455 on page 2, line 20, by inserting "smokeable" after "flavored"; and

on page 2, line 22, by inserting "smokeable" after "flavored"; and

on page 3, line 20, by replacing "distinguishable" with "predominant"; and

on page 3, by replacing lines 22 and 23 with the following: "smokeable tobacco products and cigars) produced by the tobacco"; and

on page 4, line 15, by replacing "tobacco" with "smokeable tobacco"; and

on page 4, line 22, by inserting "smokeable" after "the"; and

on page 4, by replacing line 23 with the following: "product, that a smokeable tobacco product has or produces a characterizing flavor,"; and

on page 4, line 24, by inserting "smokeable" after "all"; and

on page 4, by replacing lines 25 and 26 with the following: "products and cigars) shall constitute proof that the smokeable"; and

on page 5, by inserting immediately below line 1 the following:

"This subsection (a-6) does not apply to the sale, distribution, or offering for sale or distribution in this State of any cigar with a pre-tax retail price of $3 or more.".
