1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1089
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1089, on page 1,
3 below line 15, by inserting the following:
4     "Certificate of compliance" is a document generated by the
5 database which evidences that, as to a particular mortgage
6 loan, all data entry and counseling requirements of the Act
7 have been fulfilled and thereby allows that mortgage to be
8 recorded.
9     "Certificate of exemption" is a document generated by the
10 database which evidences that a particular mortgage loan is
11 exempt from the data entry and counseling requirements of the
12 Act and thereby allows that mortgage to be recorded.; and

13 on page 8, lines 5 and 6, by replacing "the appropriate
14 certificate" with the following: "a certificate of exemption,
15 if the requirements for an exemption are met,".
