1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 748
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 748 on page 14,
3 line 8, after "school", by inserting "and a church"; and

4 on page 14, by replacing lines 15 and 16 with the following:
5         "(4) the building has no less than 78 condominium
6     units;"; and

7 on page 14, line 18, by deleting "and"; and

8 on page 14, line 20, by replacing "." with ";"; and

9 on page 14, immediately below line 20, by inserting the
10 following:
11         "(7) the restaurant will open for business in 2010;
12         (8) the building is north of the school and separated
13     by an alley; and
14         (9) the principal religious leader of the church and

1     either the alderman of the ward in which the school is
2     located or the principal of the school have delivered a
3     written statement to the local liquor control commissioner
4     stating that he or she does not object to the issuance of a
5     license under this subsection (t).".
