AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 448

2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 448 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4     "Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended by changing
5 Section 8.47 as follows:
 
6     (30 ILCS 105/8.47)
7     Sec. 8.47. Reversal of transfers; limitation on transfers
8 from certain funds.
9     (a) (Blank). Notwithstanding any State law to the contrary,
10 on the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 96th
11 General Assembly, the State Comptroller and the State Treasurer
12 shall re-transfer from the FY09 Budget Relief Fund to each of
13 the following funds any amounts transferred from those funds to
14 the FY09 Budget Relief Fund under subsection (b) or (c) of
15 Section 8.46 prior to the effective date of this amendatory Act
16 of the 96th General Assembly:

1         (1) Fish and Wildlife Endowment Fund;
2         (2) Illinois Habitat Fund;
3         (3) State Migratory Waterfowl Stamp Fund;
4         (4) State Pheasant Fund;
5         (5) Wildlife and Fish Fund; and
6         (6) Illinois Habitat Endowment Trust Fund.
7     (b) The transfers directed under subsection (a) of this
8 Section were made under Public Act 95-1030, and it is not the
9 intent of the General Assembly to duplicate those transfers.
10     (c) No On and after the effective date of this amendatory
11 Act of the 96th General Assembly, no further transfers shall be
12 made from the funds listed in items (1) through (6) of
13 subsection (b) of this Section 8.48 of this Act to the FY09
14 Budget Relief Fund pursuant to subsection (b) or (c) of Section
15 8.46.

17     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
18 becoming law.".
