1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 6034
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 6034, AS AMENDED, by
3 replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
4 following:

5     "Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and
6 Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
7 amended by adding Section 2310-655 as follows:

8     (20 ILCS 2310/2310-655 new)
9     Sec. 2310-655. Technical assistance on playgrounds. The
10 Department of Public Health shall provide technical assistance
11 materials based on guidelines or standards such as the U.S.
12 Consumer Product Safety Commission's guidelines, the U.S.
13 Access Board final guidelines, or the standards of the American
14 Society for Testing and Materials by June 30, 2011. The
15 materials may be available on the Department's website.
16     Nothing in this Section shall be construed as imposing any

1 mandate concerning equipment in restaurants or dwellings.".
