AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5981

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5981 as follows:

on page 3, by replacing lines 22 and 23 with the following:

        "(2) that consists of a sheltered English instruction 
5
    program or a program of 2-way bilingual"; and

on page 4, by replacing line 11 with the following:

"is in both languages. For the purposes of this subdivision 
8
