    AN ACT concerning education.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The School Code is amended  by adding Section 
5
2-3.148 as follows:

    (105 ILCS 5/2-3.148  new)
7
    Sec. 2-3.148. Green career and technical education 
8
programs.  The State Board of Education shall establish a 2-year 
9
pilot program to assist in the creation and promotion of green 
10
career and technical education programs in public secondary 
11
schools in this State.  The State Board may adopt any rules 
12
necessary for the implementation of this Section.
