1 SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION

2 WHEREAS, The State Board of Education has filed its Report
3 on Waiver of School Code Mandates, dated March 1, 2008, with
4 the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Secretary of
5 State of Illinois as required by Section 2-3.25g of the School
6 Code; therefore, be it

7 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
8 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
9 CONCURRING HEREIN, that the General Assembly is encouraged to
10 promptly review and evaluate the Report and determine whether
11 to disapprove, in whole or in part, the Report or any waiver
12 request or appealed request outlined in the Report.
