SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 72

(As Amended by Senate Amendment No. 1)

 
3     WHEREAS, The State Board of Education has filed its Report
4 on Waiver of School Code Mandates, dated October 1, 2007, with
5 the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Secretary of
6 State of Illinois as required by Section 2-3.25g of the School
7 Code; therefore, be it
 
8     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
9 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
10 CONCURRING HEREIN, that the request made by Hononegeah CHSD 207 -
11 Winnebago with respect to the Prairie State Achievement
12 Examination, identified in the report filed by the State Board
13 of Education as request WM100-4440, is disapproved; and be it
14 further
 
15     RESOLVED, That each of the school district waiver requests
16 identified below by school district name and by the identifying
17 number and subject area of the waiver request as summarized in
18 the report filed by the State Board of Education is approved
19 for only 2 years and disapproved for the remaining 3 years:
20         (1) Oregon CUSD 220 - Ogle, WM100-4310, physical
21     education;
22         (2) Emmons SD 33 - Lake, WM100-4333, physical
23     education;

1         (3) Mundelein ESD 75 - Lake, WM100-4359, physical
2     education; and
3         (4) El Paso-Gridley CUSD 11 - Woodford, WM100-4464,
4     physical education; and be it further
 
5     RESOLVED, That each of the school district waiver requests
6 identified below by school district name and by the identifying
7 number and subject area of the waiver request as summarized in
8 the report filed by the State Board of Education is modified
9 for approval of a $250 per student maximum fee for driver
10 education:
11         (1) Batavia USD 101 - Kane, WM100-4361-1, driver
12     education;
13         (2) McLean County UD 5 - McLean, WM100-4378-1, driver
14     education;
15         (3) Kaneland CUSD 302 - Kane, WM100-4429-1, driver
16     education;
17         (4) Sterling CUSD 5 - Whiteside, Lee, WM100-4436,
18     driver education;
19         (5) Winnebago CUSD 323 - Winnebago, WM100-4441, driver
20     education; and
21         (6) Alton CUSD 11 - Madison, WM100-4466, driver
22     education; and be it further
 
23     RESOLVED, That the request made by Hiawatha CUSD 426 -
24 DeKalb with respect to driver education, identified in the

1 report filed by the State Board of Education as request
2 WM100-4379, is modified for approval of a $250 per student
3 maximum driver education fee for only 2 years and disapproved
4 for the remaining 3 years.
