1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1992
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1992 on page 1,
3 line 9, by replacing "100 taxpayers residing" with "a number of
4 electors of the county equal to at least 0.5% of the total
5 number of votes cast during the last preceding gubernatorial
6 election"; and

7 on page 3, line 7, by replacing "may" with "shall"; and

8 on page 3, line 11, by replacing "100 taxpayers residing" with
9 "a number of electors of the county equal to at least 0.5% of
10 the total number of votes cast during the last preceding
11 gubernatorial election".
