1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1734
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1734 on page 4, by
3 inserting below line 24 the following:

4 "(e) Application. The provisions of this Section shall not
5 be applicable to any labor organization that is subject to the
6 provisions of Title I of the Labor Management Reporting and
7 Disclosure Act, 29 U.S.C. Sec. 411 et seq. The definition of
8 "member" or "member in good standing" as used in this Section
9 shall be identical to and the same as the definition of these
10 terms as provided for in Title I of the Labor Management
11 Reporting and Disclosure Act, 29 U.S.C. Sec. 411 et seq., and
12 as specifically prescribed in 29 U.S.C. Sec. 402(o).".
