520 ILCS 5/2.24

Amends the Wildlife Code. Prohibits the taking, with knowledge, of any albino or all-white deer, which is entirely white except for the hooves, tarsal glands, head or part of the head, in this State at any time.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning wildlife.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by changing Section 2.24 as follows:

(520 ILCS 5/2.24) (from Ch. 61, par. 2.24)

Sec. 2.24. It shall be unlawful to take or possess deer in this State, except in compliance with the provisions of Sections 2.25, 2.26, and 3.23 and the administrative rules issued under the provisions of those Sections. It is unlawful for any person to knowingly take any albino or all-white whitetail deer, which is entirely white except for the hooves, tarsal glands, head, or part of the head, (Odocoileus virginianus) in this State at any time.
