AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 155

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 155 as follows:

on page 3, immediately below line 8, by inserting the following:

"(7) Waterproofing applications of non-pigmented coatings.

(8) Staining of concrete.

(9) Removal and application of materials related to the abatement of asbestos."; and

on page 7, line 5, after "qualify", by inserting "as"; and

on page 7, line 10, before "business", by inserting "the"; and

on page 8, line 21, by replacing "areas" with "other areas related to the profession"; and

on page 17, line 20, after "he", by inserting "or she"; and

on page 26, by replacing lines 16 through 22 with the following:

"Section 900. The Regulatory Sunset Act is amended by changing Section 4.21 as follows:

(5 ILCS 80/4.21)

Sec. 4.21. Acts repealed on January 1, 2011. The following Acts are repealed on January 1, 2011:

The Fire Equipment Distributor and Employee Regulation Act of 2000.

The Radiation Protection Act of 1990.

The Painting, Drywall Finishing, and Glazing Contractor Licensing Act.
