HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Marjorie A. Nelson of Montgomery, who passed away on August 7, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Marjorie Nelson was born on February 3, 1923 in Elburn; her parents were Edward and Catherine (Pearson) Larrabee; and

WHEREAS, Marjorie Nelson retired from Sealmaster Bearing after over twenty years of service; and

WHEREAS, Marjorie Nelson was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church; and

WHEREAS, Marjorie Nelson was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Nelson; her daughter, Catherine P. Nelson; her parents, Edward and Catherine (Pearson) Larrabee; and her brothers, Frank Larrabee and Charles Larrabee; and

WHEREAS, Marjorie Nelson is survived by her children, Joseph W. (Penny) Nelson, Robert T. (Angelica) Nelson, Elizabeth A. (Ronald) Urbealis, William F. (Pamela) Nelson, Edward R. (Deborah) Nelson, Charles B. (Karen) Nelson, and Thomas M. (Melissa) Nelson; her twenty grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; her sisters, Edith DeMeyer and Patricia (Jack) Kohler; her brother, Ted Larrabee; her sisters-in-law, Betty Larrabee and Lail Larrabee; her numerous nieces and nephews; and her many dear friends, especially Robert and Pamela Vickers and family; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Marjorie Nelson; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Marjorie Nelson as an expression of our sympathy.
