HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Marjorie
4 A. Nelson of Montgomery, who passed away on August 7, 2008; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Marjorie Nelson was born on February 3, 1923 in
6 Elburn; her parents were Edward and Catherine (Pearson)
7 Larrabee; and
 
8     WHEREAS, Marjorie Nelson retired from Sealmaster Bearing
9 after over twenty years of service; and
 
10     WHEREAS, Marjorie Nelson was a member of Our Lady of Good
11 Counsel Church; and
 
12     WHEREAS, Marjorie Nelson was preceded in death by her
13 husband, Joseph B. Nelson; her daughter, Catherine P. Nelson;
14 her parents, Edward and Catherine (Pearson) Larrabee; and her
15 brothers, Frank Larrabee and Charles Larrabee; and
 
16     WHEREAS, Marjorie Nelson is survived by her children,
17 Joseph W. (Penny) Nelson, Robert T. (Angelica) Nelson,
18 Elizabeth A. (Ronald) Urbealis, William F. (Pamela) Nelson,
19 Edward R. (Deborah) Nelson, Charles B. (Karen) Nelson, and
20 Thomas M. (Melissa) Nelson; her twenty grandchildren and

1 fifteen great-grandchildren; her sisters, Edith DeMeyer and
2 Patricia (Jack) Kohler; her brother, Ted Larrabee; her
3 sisters-in-law, Betty Larrabee and Lail Larrabee; her numerous
4 nieces and nephews; and her many dear friends, especially
5 Robert and Pamela Vickers and family; therefore, be it
 
6     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
7 NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
8 mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of
9 Marjorie Nelson; and be it further
 
10     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11 presented to the family of Marjorie Nelson as an expression of
12 our sympathy.
