1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4713
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4713 on page 1, line
3 11, by inserting after the period the following:
4 "This immunity shall not be extended if law enforcement has
5 reasonable suspicion or probable cause, prior to and
6 independent of the emergency 911 call, to detain, arrest, or
7 search the person or property of the person who calls 911 or
8 the person who overdosed that is not a direct result of the
9 emergency 911 call."; and

10 on page 2, line 1, by inserting after the period the following:
11 "This immunity shall not be extended if law enforcement has
12 reasonable suspicion or probable cause, prior to and

14 search the person or property of the person who calls 911 or
