1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 161
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 161, on page 2, by
3 replacing lines 6 through 9 with the following:
4     "(c) An applicant for the special plate shall be charged a
5 $40 fee for original issuance in addition to the appropriate
6 registration fee. Of this fee, $25 shall be deposited into the
7 Illinois Military Family Relief Fund and $15 shall be deposited
8 into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund, to be
9 used by the Secretary to help defray the administrative
10 processing costs. For each registration renewal period, a $27
11 fee, in addition to the appropriate registration fee, shall be
12 charged. Of this fee, $25 shall be deposited into the Illinois
13 Military Family Relief Fund and $2 shall be deposited into the
14 Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund."; and

15 on page 3 by replacing lines 8 through 11 with the following:
