SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Kathleen Foley Hogan of Wilmette on December 26, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Hogan was born October 26, 1924, in Franklin Park; she attended DePaul University; and

WHEREAS, She had a 43 year career in real estate, working for the former Lake Bay Realtors in Wilmette and Century 21 also located in Wilmette; she was also active in fundraising for the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Saint Francis Xavier Church located in Wilmette; and

WHEREAS, She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Charles Hogan; the devoted mother of Mark T. (Sallie) Hogan, Colleen A. (William) Lowe, Sharon K. (Gary) Fresen, and Joseph C. (Anne) Hogan; the cherished grandmother of Matthew, Michael, Patrick, Sean, Adam, Sarah, Bennett, Cecilia, William, and Claire; and the sister of Lucille Dwan and the late Margaret Kennard and William Foley; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kathleen Foley Hogan, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
