AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2405

2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2405, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to the page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
4 No. 1, on page 1, by replacing line 6 with the following:
5 "adding Sections 1-105.2 and 11-208.6 as follows:
 
6     (625 ILCS 5/1-105.2 new)
7     Sec. 1-105.2. Automated traffic law violation. A violation
8 described in Section 11-208.6 of this Code."; and
 
9 on page 3, line 13, by replacing "if specified," with "if
10 specified on the automated traffic law violation notice,"; and
 
11 on page 8, line 16, after "county", by inserting "designated in
12 Section 11-208.6"; and
 
13 on page 9, lines 30 and 31, by replacing "make, if available
14 and readily discernible, and" with "make and"; and
 
15 on page 9, line 32, after the period, by inserting "With regard
16 to automated traffic law violations, vehicle make shall be
17 specified on the automated traffic law violation notice if the
18 make is available and readily discernible."; and
 
19 on page 10, line 17, by replacing "within 90 days after the
20 violation." with "within 30 days after the Secretary of State

1 notifies the municipality or county of the identity of the
2 owner of the vehicle, but in no event later than 90 days after
3 the violation."; and
 
4 on page 12, by replacing lines 15 through 19 with the
5 following:
6             "(i) A second notice of parking, standing, or
7         compliance violation. This notice shall specify the
8         date and location of the violation cited in the
9         parking, standing, or compliance violation notice,";
10         and
 
11 on page 19, line 2, by replacing "within 90 days of the
12 violation." with "within 30 days after the Secretary of State
13 notifies the municipality or county of the identity of the
14 owner of the vehicle, but in no event later than 90 days after
15 the violation."; and
 
16 on page 20, line 34, by changing "$250" to "$100, plus an
17 additional penalty of not more than $100 for failure to pay the
18 original penalty in a timely manner,"; and
 
19 on page 21, immediately below line 14, by inserting the
20 following:
21     "(l) This Section applies only to the counties of Cook,
22 DuPage, Kane, Lake, Madison, McHenry, St. Clair, and Will and
23 to municipalities located within those counties.".
