    AN ACT concerning wildlife.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by changing Section 
5
1.6 as follows:

    Sec. 1.6. The
The Department, and persons authorized by it, 
8
may take, purchase or
propagate, any mammals or birds, or eggs 
9
of such birds for
propagation and stocking purposes, and when 
10
so taken, may transmit them
to parts of the State where a 
11
scarcity of such birds or
mammals exists, for the purpose of 
12
restocking such parts of the State.
