AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 929

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 929, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. 2 on page 9, line 19, after the period, by inserting the following: "Each group shall submit the name of its representative to the Director."; and

on page 9, by replacing lines 29 through 31 with the following: "underground mine within 90 days after the equipment is approved by the federal Mine Safety and Health Administration. To the extent that any of these devices have already been approved by the federal Mine Safety and Health Administration, the operator shall provide the equipment in each underground mine within 90 days after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 94th General Assembly.".
