SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

30 ILCS 500/50-50

Amends the Illinois Procurement Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning insider information.

AN ACT concerning finance.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by changing Section 50-50 as follows:

(30 ILCS 500/50-50)

Sec. 50-50. Insider information. It is unlawful for any current or former elected or appointed State official or State employee to knowingly use confidential information available only by virtue of that that office or employment for actual or anticipated gain for themselves or another person.
