| SENATE RESOLUTION
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois | 3 |
| were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Frank D. Kaiser | 4 |
| on Monday, October 11, 2004; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Kaiser was born on March 13, 1925 in Waukegan; | 6 |
| he started out at an early age farming with his dad and driving | 7 |
| a truck; for a short period of time, he owned his own milk | 8 |
| truck business, then drove for various companies before working | 9 |
| for Fred Losch Beverage Company for 36 years, 23 years as | 10 |
| warehouse manager; and
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, After retiring, Mr. Kaiser was a proprietor of | 12 |
| Kaiser's Pizza in Gurnee for 10 years; and
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Kaiser was a founding member of the Newport | 14 |
| Volunteer Fire Department; he served in a representative | 15 |
| capacity in Newport Township for nearly 40 years, first serving | 16 |
| as an auditor and trustee, then later serving 38 years as town | 17 |
| clerk; and
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Kaiser was also a charter member and a past | 19 |
| president of the Wadsworth Lions Club; he received the Lions | 20 |
| Club highest honor, the Melvin Jones award; and
| 21 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Kaiser was a member of the Dew Drop Inn Gun | 22 |
| Club and various other organizations; and
| 23 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Frank D. Kaiser will be deeply felt | 24 |
| by many, especially his wife, Betty Rae; his sons, Ron (April), | 25 |
| Gary (Jimmie), Timothy and Frankie; his daughter, Kathie | 26 |
| (Robert) Ames; a step son, Jeffrey Newyear; his grandchildren, | 27 |
| Daniel, Kristie (Ron), Kamron, Kevin (Gary), Jakob and Cortney | 28 |
| (Tim); and his great grandchildren, Kylie and Deagan; his three | 29 |
| brothers-in-law, Robert (Rosanna) Birky, Richard (Janet) |

| Sleyster and Ed (Dee) Nadelhoffer; and his two sisters-in-law, | 2 |
| Mary Krell and Cookie Nadelhoffer; and
| 3 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Kaiser was preceded in death by his father and | 4 |
| mother, Frank and Frances Kaiser; his first wife, Regina; and | 5 |
| his brothers-in-law, Don Krell, Tom Nadelhoffer and Jack | 6 |
| Nadelhoffer; therefore, be it
| 7 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL | 8 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 9 |
| Frank D. Kaiser along with all who knew and loved him and | 10 |
| extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and | 11 |
| be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
| 13 |
| presented to the family of Frank D. Kaiser as an
expression of | 14 |
| our deepest sympathy for their loss.
