    AN ACT concerning condominiums.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Condominium Property Act is amended  by 
5
changing Section 2.1 as follows:

    (765 ILCS 605/2.1)  (from Ch. 30, par. 302.1)

    Sec. 2.1. Applicability. Unless otherwise expressly 
8
provided in another
Section, the provisions of this Act are 
9
applicable to all condominiums in the
this
State of Illinois.

Any provisions of a condominium instrument that contains 
11
provisions
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are 
12
void as against public policy
and ineffective.
