| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of William R. "Bill" Taul Sr. of Alton, who | 4 | | passed away on August 25, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, William Taul was born in Alton to Theodore Francis | 6 | | and Gertrude (Baker) Taul on October 13, 1929; he served in the | 7 | | United States Army and played in the Pittsburgh Pirates minor | 8 | | league system; he married Rosalie Pavish at Ss. Peter & Paul | 9 | | Proto-Cathedral Church on May 7, 1960; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, William Taul worked for many years at ConAgra | 11 | | Foods in Alton; he worked part-time at Macy's department store | 12 | | and the Rock Springs Golf Course; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, William Taul volunteered with the Bucket Brigade, | 14 | | co-sponsored by Pride, Inc., painting homes for area residents | 15 | | in need; he enjoyed bowling, golfing, and spending time with | 16 | | his family; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, William Taul was preceded in death by his parents; | 18 | | his wife, Rosalie; and his siblings, Francis Taul, Martha | 19 | | Davey, and Donald Taul; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, William Taul is survived by his children,
