SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert E. Boyle of McHenry, who passed
4away on June 26, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Boyle was born in Woodstock to Edwin Boyle
6and Marian (Gielow) Meyers on July 1, 1942; he married Georgia
7Manning in St. Patrick Church in McHenry on February 4, 1967;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, Robert Boyle started his career as a teen in the
10panel board department at Jemison Electric in Crystal Lake and
11worked there for 32 years; after its closing, he worked for
12Kinney Electric in Elgin for 26 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Robert Boyle enjoyed hunting and was an avid
14fisherman; he was a collector and enjoyed going to flea markets
15and bringing home his treasures; he especially loved the wooden
16animals his friend made; he enjoyed spending time at his home
17in Wisconsin; he took meticulous care of his home and
18everything he owned; he always wanted to be surrounded with the
19laughter of grandchildren and held many family gatherings at
20his home; and
 
21    WHEREAS, Robert Boyle was preceded in death by his parents;

1his Grandma Gielow; his stepfathers, John Milke and Bill
2Meyers; his in-laws, George and Harriet Manning; his dear
3niece, Cathy Knor; and his cousin, Jerry Boyle; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Robert Boyle is survived by his wife of 50 years,
5Georgia; his children, Sherri Boyle, Kelly (James) Irwin, and
6Mike Boyle; his son-in-law, Tim Pankiewicz; his grandchildren,
7Trevor Pankiewicz, Kalei Pankiewicz, Rachel Irwin, and Delia
8Irwin; his brothers, Jimmy Milke and Randy Meyers; his brother
9and sisters-in-law, Marilyn (the late Jack) Willnecker,
10Annemae (the late Stanley) Lezon, Carole (the late Tony) Knor,
11and George (Linda) Manning; and many nieces and nephews;
12therefore, be it
 
13    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
14ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
15Robert E. Boyle, and extend our sincere condolences to his
16family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
17further
 
18    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19presented to the family of Robert Boyle as an expression of our
20deepest sympathy.
