SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Pamela L. Johnson, who passed away on July 8, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Pamela Johnson was born to Wilbur and Virginia Johnson on April 4, 1942; and

WHEREAS, Pamela Johnson worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement; and

WHEREAS, Pamela Johnson was an active and beloved member of Kingswood United Methodist Church in Buffalo Grove; and

WHEREAS, Pamela Johnson was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Pamela Johnson is survived by her cousin, Tom (Alberta) Bueker, and her friend, Carianne (Troy) Short; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Pamela L. Johnson, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Pamela Johnson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
