SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lucille E. Salzman of Woodstock, who
4passed away on March 3, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lucille Salzman was born in McHenry to Peter and
6Theresa (Freund) Weingart on February 1, 1923; she married
7William Salzman on June 13, 1946; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Lucille Salzman worked in Woodstock for many years
9at R.C. Allen Typewriter, R.O. Andrew Company, and O'Leary
10Construction; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Lucille Salzman was a member of St. Patrick
12Catholic Church in Hartland for 25 years and Saint Mary
13Catholic Church in Woodstock for over 40 years; she enjoyed
14bowling, golfing, reading, walking, Sunday paper crossword
15puzzles, playing dominoes, and spending time with her family;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Lucille Salzman was preceded in death by her
18parents; her husband, William; her sister, Rita; her brothers,
19Harold and Peter; and her niece, Jayne; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Lucille Salzman is survived by her daughters,

1Patricia (George) Taylor, and Suellen (Donald) Giorgi; her
2grandchildren, Michael (Kimberly) Salzman, Christopher
3(Jennifer) Schaefer, and Lisa (Keith) Borchardt; and her
4great-grandsons, Andrew and Brandon Schaefer, and Hunter and
5Maximus Borchardt; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Lucille E. Salzman, and extend our sincere condolences to her
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Lucille Salzman as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
