SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Bonnie L. Powles of Waukegan, who passed away on October 3, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Bonnie Powles was born in Chicago to Marie and Kenneth Young on September 18, 1941; and

WHEREAS, Bonnie Powles was a dedicated fan of the Chicago Bulls, Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks; she loved her precious cats, Teeny-weenie, Patches, and Jilly; and

WHEREAS, Bonnie Powles is survived by her son, Donald Powles (Kathy); her daughter, Pamela Marsh (Russ); her grandchildren, Crystal and Britney Marsh and Joey, Billy, and Tyler Powles; her great-grandchildren, Paisley, Eltan, Layla, Evelyn, Zola, and Leo; and many other relatives and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Bonnie L. Powles and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bonnie Powles as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
