SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Blake J. Reese of Pawnee, who passed away on December 9, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Blake Reese was born in Springfield to Roger Reese and Judy Klemeyer on August 17, 1973; he married Meghan Tippy in Springfield on September 1, 2007; and

WHEREAS, Blake Reese loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and entertaining his friends; he and Meghan attended many concerts; he loved his daughter more than words could express; and

WHEREAS, Blake Reese was preceded in death by his father, Roger Reese; and

WHEREAS, Blake Reese is survived by his wife, Meghan; his daughter, Breanna Reese; his mother, Judy Klemeyer; his brother, Jon B. Reese; his sister, Jennifer Marie Duval; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Blake J. Reese and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Blake Reese as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
