SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Darrin Michael Jorn of Hillsboro, who passed away on December 30, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Darrin Jorn was born in Hillsboro to Kenneth and Carol (Reynolds) Jorn on May 9, 1968; he graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1987; he married Becky Chesser on May 30, 2003; and

WHEREAS, Darrin Jorn owned and operated Jorn Signs; he was a graphic artwork specialist and donated many graphic art banners to organizations; and

WHEREAS, Darrin Jorn was a precinct committeemen for the Republican Party; he was a member of the Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge; he enjoyed woodworking, target shooting, music, and playing with friends in a band; and

WHEREAS, Darrin Jorn is survived by his parents; his wife, Becky; his children, Derek Chesser, Dylan White, and Darby White; his brother, Denny (Marci) Jorn; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Darrin Michael Jorn and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Darrin Jorn as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
