SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Betty Paulette Class of Waukegan, who passed away on November 9, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Betty Class was born to Paul and Betty (Durant) Beetschen on August 12, 1949; and

WHEREAS, Betty Class will be remembered for her love of all things purple, sun tea, rhubarb, and her mad dusting skills; and

WHEREAS, Betty Class is survived by her mother, Betty Beetschen; her brother, Paul Beetschen Jr. (Marcia Coppock); her daughters, Jennifer Moore (Bill Durkin), April Moore-Allbee, and Cassandra (Derek) Winningham; her husband, Daniel Class Jr.; her grandchildren, Emalee Allbee and Rylan and Vivian Winningham; her nieces, Stephanie and Sarah Beetschen; her cat, Evie; and numerous furry grandkids; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Betty Paulette Class and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Betty Class as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
