SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lewis A. Viviani of Moline, who passed
4away on November 13, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lewis Viviani was born in East Moline to Arthur
6and Marianna (Conicella) Viviani on March 14, 1927; he was a
7veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II
8and the Korean War; he married Irene I. Vergotte at Sacred
9Heart Church in Moline on August 23, 1947; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Lewis Viviani worked in the Salaried Accounting
11and Budget Departments at the I.H. Farmall Plant for over 37
12years; he also worked part time at the Roxy Theatre in Moline
13for 33 years,; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Lewis Viviani was a member of Sacred Heart Church,
15Moline, the American Legion Post 246, Moline, and was a
16lifetime member of the Friends Circle Club, Moline; he enjoyed
17woodworking; on holidays, he made crafts to share with friends;
18and
 
19    WHEREAS, Lewis Viviani was preceded in death by his
20brother, Nicola; and

1    WHEREAS, Lewis Viviani is survived by his wife, Irene; his
2children, Rose (James) Lyphout and John Viviani; his grandsons,
3John Viviani II, Nick Viviani, Joseph (Georgianne Walker)
4Lyphout, and Jonathan (Laura) Lyphout; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Lewis A. Viviani and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Lewis Viviani as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
