SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kenneth L. "Ken" Larsen of Beach Park, who passed away on October 6, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Ken Larsen was a resident of Waukegan Township, Beach Park for 40 years; and

WHEREAS, Ken Larsen took pride in working at Peter Baker & Son Co. and retired after 42 years of service; and

WHEREAS, During retirement, Ken Larsen enjoyed spending winters in Florida, attending NASCAR races, and fishing; when in Beach Park, he kept himself busy fixing everything for himself, his family, and his neighbors; and

WHEREAS, Ken Larsen is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Linda; his sons, Doug (Lindsey) Larsen, Derrick Larsen, Rich (Stacy) Gregory, and Steve Gregory; his eight grandchildren; and his great-granddaughter; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kenneth L. "Ken" Larsen and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ken Larsen as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
