SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of William R. "Bill" Beadles D.D.S. of
4Bloomington, who passed away on September 12, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dr. Beadles was born in Normal to William Thomas
6and Leta Christina Richardson Beadles on December 12, 1929; he
7graduated from Bloomington High School, Illinois Wesleyan
8University in 1951, and Northwestern University Dental School
9in Chicago in 1955; he joined the United States Air Force and
10practiced as a dentist, obtaining the rank of captain; he
11married Nell A. Alexander in Monticello on December 18, 1949;
12and
 
13    WHEREAS, After his military service, Dr. Beadles returned
14to Bloomington and practiced dentistry until his retirement in
151992; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Dr. Beadles enjoyed his time outdoors, camping,
17weaving, and woodworking, but his greatest enjoyment came from
18spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren;
19and
 
20    WHEREAS, Dr. Beadles was preceded in death by his parents
21and his wife, Nell; and

1    WHEREAS, Dr. Beadles is survived by his son, W. David
2(Chris) Beadles; his daughter, Margaret (Dan) Deffenbaugh; his
3grandchildren, Maj. Matthew (Lily) Deffenbaugh USMC, W.
4Michael (Jordan) Deffenbaugh, Chelsea Beadles, and Aubrey
5Beadles; his great-grandchildren, Hunter, Bear, Ayden, Rogue,
6Landon, Kensington, Hailey, Braddock, and Tirzah; and his
7sister, Martha Giacobassi; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10William R. "Bill" Beadles D.D.S., and extend our sincere
11condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
12him; and be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Dr. Beadles as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
