SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jamie Lynn O'Meara of Waukegan, who passed away on May 19, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Jamie O'Meara was born in Grand Haven, Michigan to Donald Joseph Sr. and Dolores O'Meara on June 2, 1960; she attended Our Lady of Humility School and Carmel High School and graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin in 1982; and

WHEREAS, Jamie O'Meara worked as an accountant; and

WHEREAS, Jamie O'Meara was an active member of St. Anastasia Parish in Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, Jamie O'Meara was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Kathleen O'Meara Magnuson; and

WHEREAS, Jamie O'Meara is survived by her sister, Joyce Susan O'Meara; her brother, Donald Joseph O'Meara Jr.; her nephews, Michael (Meredith) Eckhardt and Donald Joseph (Brittany) O'Meara III; her niece, Anneliese (Scott) Omeck Fridlund; her grandnephews, Ethan and Matthew Eckhardt and Liam Spenser; her brother-in-law, Jerry Magnuson; and many aunts, cousins, and dear friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Jamie Lynn O'Meara, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jamie O'Meara as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
