SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John Valentine Juncer of Waukegan, who
4passed away on April 22, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Juncer was born in North Chicago on February
613, 1929; he graduated from St. Bartholomew Grade School in
7Waukegan and Waukegan Township High School; he served in the
8United States Army during the Korean War; and
 
9    WHEREAS, John Juncer was the owner of the National Shoe
10Repair of Waukegan; he retired from OMC in 1987 after 30 years
11of service; and
 
12    WHEREAS, John Juncer was preceded in death by his brothers,
13Adolph, Casimir, Francis, and Albert; his sisters, Adeline and
14Mary; and an infant granddaughter, Mary; and
 
15    WHEREAS, John Juncer is survived by his wife, Florence
16(Pudlo); his sons, Fr. Bart Juncer and Matthew Juncer; his
17daughters, Therese Williams and Patty (Mark) Walaszek; his
18grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Brozek, Nathaniel Juncer,
19Veronica (John) Singh, Anne (Chris Sheard) Walaszek, Jimi
20Williams, and Luke Walaszek; his great-grandchildren, Leah and
21Daniel Brozek; and his sister, Rita Montella; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3John Valentine Juncer, and extend our sincere condolences to
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of John Juncer as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
