SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Evelyn Gallo of Gillespie, who passed
4away on April 28, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Evelyn Gallo was born in White City to Peter and
6Stella Villa on August 29, 1922; she married Albert Gallo in
7Gillespie on September 2, 1967; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Evelyn Gallo was a homemaker and a buyer and clerk
9for the Tillie Rifkin Department Store; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Evelyn Gallo was a member of the Ss. Simon and
11Jude Altar Society; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Evelyn Gallo was preceded in death by her parents;
13her husband, Albert; her brothers, Dan, Guy, and Dewey Villa;
14and her sisters, Helen Villa and Louise Morris; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Evelyn Gallo is survived by her stepchildren,
16David (Jeanne) Gallo and Roseann (Gary) Visintin; her
17stepgrandchildren, Michael (Amy) Gallo, Brian (Tami) Gallo,
18Anthony (Kim) Gallo, Matthew Visintin, and Bradley (Meghan)
19Visintin; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Carter Gallo, Brady
20Gallo, Ava Gallo, Addison Gallo, Carson Gallo, Kinsely Gallo,

1and Gabriella Gallo; and her sister, Bernice Matijevich;
2therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Evelyn Gallo, and extend our sincere condolences to her family,
6friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Evelyn Gallo as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
