SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Edward Joseph "Ed" Reilly of McHenry, who passed away on March 26, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Ed Reilly was born to Charles and Aurelia Reilly on April 10, 1950; he graduated from Wauconda High School in 1968; and

WHEREAS, Ed Reilly worked for the Island Lake Police Department as Police and Fire Commissioner for 26 years; he was a retired Wauconda fireman and retired from DHL; and

WHEREAS, Ed Reilly enjoyed spending time on his boat and with his family; and

WHEREAS, Ed Reilly was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Andrea Reilly; and

WHEREAS, Ed Reilly is survived by his wife, Trish; his children, Eddie and Krystal; his stepdaughter, Kendra Logar; his brothers, Charles (Ellen) and Thomas (Sandy) Reilly; his mother-in-law, Linda Adams; his father-in-law, Frank Adams; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Edward Joseph "Ed" Reilly and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ed Reilly as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
