SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Claricel "CJ" Dominguez III of Deer Park, Texas, who passed away on March 9, 2018; and

WHEREAS, CJ Dominguez was born in Beaufort, South Carolina to Claricel and Veronica on September 9, 1995; and

WHEREAS, CJ Dominguez loved his family, friends, and food, especially the Golden Corral; he had a heart of gold and enjoyed making people laugh with his singing and his Michael Jackson moves; he was an avid fan of the Houston Texans; and

WHEREAS, CJ Dominguez is survived by his parents, Claricel Dominguez Jr. and Veronica Valdez; his stepparents, Johnny Valdez and Jennifer Dominguez; his brothers and sisters, Joseph, Lauren, Jocelin, Payton, Emma, and Eli; his grandparents; many uncles, aunts, cousins; and his best friend, Angel; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Claricel "CJ" Dominguez III, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of CJ Dominguez as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
