| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Aaron Michael Scofield, who passed away | 4 | | on January 18, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Aaron Scofield was born in Joliet on August 28, | 6 | | 1986; he attended Holy Family Catholic School, Hufford Junior | 7 | | High, Joliet West High School, and Joliet Junior College; a | 8 | | lifelong resident of Joliet, he had been living in Chicago for | 9 | | the past six years; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Aaron Scofield worked as a warehouse technician | 11 | | for Amazon in Joliet; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Aaron Scofield was an avid gamer, who enjoyed | 13 | | playing and collecting retro video games and listening to a | 14 | | wide variety of music; he enjoyed spending time with his | 15 | | family, friends, and his two dogs, Violet and Chico; above all, | 16 | | was his love for his wife, Roxy; he will be remembered for his | 17 | | unique sense of humor, his love-filled laugh, and his | 18 | | tremendous honesty; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Aaron Scofield was preceded in death by his | 20 | | grandparents, Ruby (Calcanas) and Julius Lopez and Marjorie | 21 | | (Webb) and Emil "Duke" Scofield; and his cousin, Michael Naese; |

Scofield Jr; his sister, Sarah (Carlos) | 6 | | Jiminez; his in-laws, Luz Elena and Arturo Jasso; his | 7 | | sisters-in-law, Celena, Claudia, Cristina, and Elvira Jasso; | 8 | | his brother-in-law, Arturo Jasso; his nieces and nephew, Mia, | 9 | | Xavier, and Elena Jiminez, Logan, Savannah, and Christian | 10 | | Scofield, Carlos and Diego Beltran, Anabelle Jasso, and Anthony | 11 | | Chao; and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it
