SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Joseph S. Abbate Jr. of Wonder Lake, who passed away on December 12, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Abbate was born in 1956; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Abbate was the owner of The American Academy of Computer Training and Technology from 1991 to 2015; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Abbate was a gifted musician and a worship leader at various churches throughout McHenry County over the past 20 years; he was a passionate tropical fish breeder and a member of the Greater Chicago Cichlid Association; and

WHEREAS, Joseph Abbate is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Roxane; his beloved children, Samantha and Joshua; his sister, Jo Anne Abbate; his brother, Dr. Samuel (Anne) Abbate; his niece, Alyssa Lorenz; and several other relatives and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Joseph S. Abbate Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Joseph Abbate as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
