SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of William E. "Butch" Yarborough of Roxana, who passed away on December 14, 2017; and

WHEREAS, William Yarborough was born in Winchester to William and Isabel (Cox) Yarborough on August 3, 1942; he married Darlene Lawrence in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 11, 1989; and

WHEREAS, William Yarborough worked as an investigator for the firm of Becker, Schroder and Chapman for over 25 years; and

WHEREAS, William Yarborough enjoyed playing golf and watching the St. Louis Cardinals; and

WHEREAS, William Yarborough was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Donald Yarborough; and his sisters, Shirley Blasa and Margie Tuttle; and

WHEREAS, William Yarborough is survived by his wife, Darlene; his son, Donald Yarborough; his stepsons, Patrick (Kim) and Jon Lawrence; his daughter, Shelley Yarborough (Brandon Johnson); his stepdaughter, Jennifer (James) Herring; his three "princesses", Jacey Humphries, Callie Lawrence, and Isabel Johnson; his brothers, Mike (Jackie) and David Yarborough; and his sister, Judy Clark; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of William E. "Butch" Yarborough, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of William Yarborough as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
