HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to honor and recognize Jeffrey M. Wallace on the occasion of his retirement from the Joliet Township Board; and

WHEREAS, Jeffrey Wallace began serving the residents of Joliet Township as Collector on September 25, 1991; he served two and a half terms and was then appointed as Trustee on June 20, 2002 and served three and three quarter terms; he completed over 25 years during his time in office; and

WHEREAS, Jeffrey Wallace served on the Township Collectors Division and The Township Trustees Division for many years; he served on the Township Officials of Illinois Board from 1992 to 2015 as the Director, the Secretary, the Vice President, the Treasurer, and as the President from 2011 to 2013; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that sincerest best wishes are extended to Jeffrey M. Wallace for his years of dedicated service to Joliet Township and a well-deserved retirement; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Jeffrey Wallace as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
