HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Scott B. Brundige of Geneva, who passed away on October 31, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Scott Brundige was born in Geneva to Paul and Mary Jane (Scott) Brundige; he served in the U.S. Navy; and

WHEREAS, Scott Brundige worked as a Geneva police officer for over 28 years, retiring as chief of police in 1979; after retirement, he worked as a deputy clerk for the Kane County Circuit Clerk's office; and

WHEREAS, Scott Brundige was the project director for what became Tri-Com Central Dispatch for Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, and other agencies; his work to establish the Tri-Com 911 system involved traveling to Washington, D.C. to work with the Federal Communications Commission; and

WHEREAS, Scott Brundige was a long-time member of St. Peter Catholic Church, where he served as an usher for many years; his favorite pastime was spending time with his family; and

WHEREAS, Scott Brundige was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Scott; his daughter, Carla; and his wife, Deloris; and

WHEREAS, Scott Brundige is survived by his children, Marijane (Gary) Freier, Kathy (Richard) Tornberg, and Jennifer Brundige; his grandchildren, Tracey Freier and Carl (Heidi); his great-grandson, Aaron; his friend, Beverly Larkin; and numerous other friends and family; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Scott B. Brundige and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Scott Brundige as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
