HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Scott B.
4Brundige of Geneva, who passed away on October 31, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Scott Brundige was born in Geneva to Paul and Mary
6Jane (Scott) Brundige; he served in the U.S. Navy; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Scott Brundige worked as a Geneva police officer
8for over 28 years, retiring as chief of police in 1979; after
9retirement, he worked as a deputy clerk for the Kane County
10Circuit Clerk's office; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Scott Brundige was the project director for what
12became Tri-Com Central Dispatch for Batavia, Geneva, St.
13Charles, and other agencies; his work to establish the Tri-Com
14911 system involved traveling to Washington, D.C. to work with
15the Federal Communications Commission; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Scott Brundige was a long-time member of St. Peter
17Catholic Church, where he served as an usher for many years;
18his favorite pastime was spending time with his family; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Scott Brundige was preceded in death by his
20parents; his grandson, Scott; his daughter, Carla; and his

1wife, Deloris; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Scott Brundige is survived by his children,
3Marijane (Gary) Freier, Kathy (Richard) Tornberg, and Jennifer
4Brundige; his grandchildren, Tracey Freier and Carl (Heidi);
5his great-grandson, Aaron; his friend, Beverly Larkin; and
6numerous other friends and family; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
8HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
9mourn the passing of Scott B. Brundige and extend our sincere
10condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
11him; and be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Scott Brundige as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
