SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dr. Robert L. Wolf of Urbana, who passed away on July 11, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Robert Wolf was born on March 29, 1929 in Kearney, Nebraska; his parents were John and Evelyn Drake Wolf; he married Barbara Tate on November 26, 1954 in Hiawatha, Kansas; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Robert Wolf graduated from Kearney High School and the University of Nebraska Medical School; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Robert Wolf served his country as a member of the United States Naval Reserve from 1957 to 1959 in San Miguel, the Philippines; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Robert Wolf was a dermatologist at Carle Clinic from 1962 until his retirement in 1999; he was also a member of the Executive Committee for Carle Foundation Medical Staff from 1967 to 1968 and was the head of the Dermatology Department from 1972 to 1984; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Robert Wolf is survived by his wife, Barbara; 4 sons, Robert B. Wolf, Guy A. (Jane) Wolf, Fredrick T. "Fritz" (Joan) Wolf, and Edward M. "Ted" (Tracy) Wolf; and 6 grandchildren, Katrina, Kathleen, Caitlin, Elizabeth, Fredrick "Freddy", and Brian; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Dr. Robert L. Wolf; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dr. Robert Wolf as an expression of our sympathy.
