SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Sandra Lee Brady, who passed away on July
418, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Sandra Brady was born on May 8, 1941; her parents
6were Harold and Mary Loretto (nee O'Donoghue) Miller; she
7married John Brady on February 11, 1961, at St. Thomas the
8Apostle; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Sandra Brady was raised in Crystal Lake; she was
10baptized at St. Thomas the Apostle, where she later received
11her First Communion and was confirmed; she graduated from
12Crystal Lake Community High School in 1959; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Sandra Brady worked at Crystal Lake South High
14School in the English Department Resource Center for many years
15until her retirement in 2006; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Sandra Brady was a gifted seamstress, a talented
17Bridge player, and a devoted grandma to her grandchildren; she
18loved traveling in Europe and the Caribbean, riding her
19snowmobile in Northern Wisconsin near the family cabin, and
20visiting 49 states; and

1    WHEREAS, Sandra Brady is preceded in death by her parents;
2her former husband, John Brady; and a sister, Rita Fitzgerald;
3and
 
4    WHEREAS, Sandra Brady is survived by 4 daughters, Ann
5(Andre Bowdry) Brady, Ellen (Joseph Selby) Brady, Mary (Thomas)
6Edwards, and Seanine (Robert Reisenbuechler) Brady; her
7grandchildren, Brigitte (fiance, Jonathan Kratenstein)
8Mueller, Nicole Edwards, Erich Mueller, Kevin Edwards,
9Benjamin Brady, Maggie Mueller, Quinn Brady, and Charles
10Edwards; 2 sisters, Lorraine Egan and Shirley Oost; and many
11nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
14family and friends, mourn the passing of Sandra Lee Brady; and
15be it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Sandra Brady as an expression of our
18sympathy.
