SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Judy Ann Bock, who passed away on February 10, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Judy Bock was born in Alton on December 10, 1949 to John Charles, Sr. and Beatrice Lucille (Jennings) Lankford; she married Frank Bock on June 7, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Judy Bock was employed at the Alton Bell Casino for many years; and

WHEREAS, Judy Bock collected Betty Boop; she loved going to garage sales, fishing with her husband, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan; she had a love for life and fed her pets and the local wildlife every morning; her greatest joy was spending time with her family; and

WHEREAS, Judy Bock was preceded in death by her parents, and her 2 brothers, Robert Lee Lankford and Ronald Eugene Lankford; and

WHEREAS, Judy Bock is survived by her husband, Frank; her 2 children and their wives, Grover and Lisa Webb and Steven and Marie Webb; her sisters and brothers, Charles Lankford, Janet Lankford, Mike and Ginger Lankford, Joan and (fiancée Sal Morgan) Lankford, Jane and Gary Hibbs, and Donald and Adele Lankford; her stepchildren, Frank and (fiancée Sandi Middleton), Greg and Laura Bock, Carol Bock (Denise Callahan), and Doug Bock; her 14 grandchildren; and her 26 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Judy Ann Bock, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Judy Bock as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
