SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Grace Michelle Oliver, who passed away on July 21, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Grace Oliver was a proud student of St. Louis University and an alumnus of Loyola Academy; she was destined to be a teacher and although she was never officially in a classroom, she taught everyone around her how to live life to its fullest; and

WHEREAS, Grace Oliver enjoyed traveling the world, reality TV, Saint Louis University basketball, the Chicago Blackhawks, and babies; and

WHEREAS, Grace Oliver was the loving daughter of Michael and Mary (nee Cavanaugh); the cherished and spirited sister of Molly and Claire; the dear granddaughter of Alois and Dorothy Oliver and Maureen and the late Richard Cavanaugh; the eccentric and fun cousin and niece of many; and the devoted "mother" of her Aussie-Doodle, Louise; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Grace Michelle Oliver; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Grace Oliver as an expression of our sympathy.
