SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ann Marie "Dolly" Mulvey of Crest Hill,
4who passed away on June 25, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ann Mulvey was born on January 7, 1937 to Frank J.
6Sternisha and Anna A. Galajdik; she graduated Lockport Township
7High School in 1955; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Ann Mulvey began her employment at Merichka's
9Restaurant; she retired from Chaney-Monge School after 12 years
10of service; she also enjoyed being an Avon lady for many years;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Ann Mulvey was a member of St. Anne Catholic
13Church's Council of Catholic Women (CCW) and choir and was the
142011 CCW Woman of the Year; she was also a member of Ladies
15Auxiliary of Cantigny Post VFW #367, St. Genevieve Lodge #108,
16the Slovenian Union of America, the Joliet Rivals Ladies
17Auxiliary, the Crest Hill Homemakers, and the Chaney Monge
18Parent-Teachers Organization; she loved to sing in the St. Anne
19church choir and enjoyed Sunday picnics at St. Joe's Park; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Ann Mulvey was preceded in death by her husband of
2153 years, Robert W. Mulvey; her parents; her 3 brothers, Joseph

1(Pearl) Fojut, Frank E. (Judy) Sternisha, and John (Linda)
2Sternisha; and her 2 sisters, Theresa (Norm) Wittkofski and
3Alice (Joseph) Valek; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Ann Mulvey was the loving mother of Beverly A.
5(Ralph) McCutcheon, Barbara A. Fenoglio, Robert M. Mulvey, and
6Maureen A. (Scott) Hasenjaeger; the cherished grandmother of 9
7grandchildren, April (Ronnie) Baynard, Holly McCutcheon, Brad
8McCutcheon, Terry (Shelly) Fenoglio, Robert Fenoglio, Amber
9(Patrick) Cox, William Fenoglio, Michael Mulvey, and Brenna
10Mulvey; the proud great-grandmother of Damien Buchanan, Logan
11and Liam Fenoglio, Calean and Ryleigh Cox, and Madailein
12Baynard; she was survived by one sister, Pauline (Tom)
13Mihelich; 4 brothers, Michael (Marilyn) Sternisha, George
14(Mary Ann) Sternisha, Joseph Sternisha, and Walter (Sherril)
15Sternisha; one sister-in-law, Judith Wetherbee; and many
16nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
19Ann Marie "Dolly" Mulvey, and extend our sincere condolences to
20her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
21further
 
22    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23presented to the family of Ann Mulvey as an expression of our
